Gregorja, ki na Slovenskem \u0161teje kot prvi spomladanski dan, se pti\u010dki \u017eenijo, pa tudi lu\u010d se nese v vodo. Ta prastar obi\u010daj je Kulturno dru\u0161tvo Franca Jelov\u0161ka Menge\u0161 ponovno o\u017eivilo. V Meng\u0161u so se spu\u0161\u010dale ladjice ali barkice v Pristavi pri Bognarju. Te barkice so ponavadi lesene, na katere je pritrjena sve\u010da. Tako se mladi in stari sre\u010dujemo, da ohranjamo ta star obi\u010daj vsako leto 11. su\u0161ca pri Bognarjevem mostu v Pristavi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>V ljudskem mi\u0161ljenju sveti Gregor velja za za\u010detnika pomladi, ker se je po starem (julijanskem) koledarju na dan njegovega godu (12. marec) za\u010denjala pomlad. Na ta dan sonce greje z ve\u010djim veseljem in tudi sapice pihljajo bolj toplo. Pti\u010dki veselo \u017evrgolijo in odtod govorica, da se na ta dan \u017eenijo, kar je v Dumi opisal Oton \u017dupan\u010di\u010d: \u201cNa Gregorjevo \u2013 otec, \u0161e ve\u0161? \u2013 se pti\u010dki \u017eenili so\u201d. Dan je sedaj dalj\u0161i in od Gregorjevega obrtniki ne potrebujejo lu\u010di za delo, kar so v mnogih slovenskih krajih simboli\u010dno prikazovali s tem, da so \u201clu\u010d spustili v vodo\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"slideshow\"><div id=\"ngg_slideshow43252261\" class=\"ngg-slideshow owl-carousel\" style=\"max-width: 500px;
